A dual cylinder air pump is a commonly used industrial pump that increases flow and pressure through cylinder spacing and phase operation to meet the flow and pressure requirements under different working conditions. The dual cylinder air pump mainly consists of two compressor cylinders, camshafts, connecting rods, etc. The specific working principle is as follows:
When the camshaft of cylinder 1 rotates, the piston moves upwards inside the cylinder, reducing the pressure inside the cylinder and pumping the medium into the cylinder. As the camshaft further rotates, the piston of cylinder 1 reaches top dead center, while the piston of cylinder 2 is descending.
Next, the camshaft of cylinder 2 rotates, pushing the piston of cylinder 2 upwards, compressing the medium and pushing it into a pipeline or container. When the piston of cylinder 2 reaches the top dead center, the camshaft of cylinder 1 starts to rotate again, and the piston of cylinder 1 moves downwards to discharge the medium from the cylinder. Subsequently, the piston of cylinder 2 begins to move downwards, expelling the compressed medium.
By alternating in this way, the dual cylinder air pump can continuously compress and push the medium to achieve higher flow and pressure. The dual cylinder air pump has high working efficiency, low noise, convenient maintenance, and is suitable for various media and working conditions, making it widely used in industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, petroleum, and food.
